Karena broker -nya ada di cloud maka harus diwajibkan untuk ada internet, kelemahannya adalah ketika internet down maka device tidak bisa di kontrol dan monitorng, belum lagi masalah lainnya yaitu server mereka down atau ISP yang kita pakai ada masalah pada upstream menuju server mereka, atau kita tidak tahu berapa kuatnya masalah pendanaan server cloud tersebut di sisi eWeLink tersebut. Keuntungan lain kita merubah firmware ke Tasmota adalah, lebih responsif, tidak harus dengan internet tetap bisa di kontrol\/remote dan monitoring device di dalam rumah namun posisi gadget\/pc\/laptop yang melakukan remote di dalam satu jaringan local LAN rumah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Di sini yang akan di bahas hanya device SONOFF saja,  device SONOFF menggunakan chip ESP series. Sedangkan <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/tasmota.github.io\/docs\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tasmota<\/a> adalah firmware untuk menjalankan micro controller berbasis ESP. Sebelumnya persiapan dahulu tools -nya seperti yang pernah di bahas sebelum di <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/notes.opikdesign.com\/index.php\/2020\/07\/28\/iot-robot\/flashing-chip-esp-dengan-esptools-pada-text-mode\/\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;Flashing chip ESP dengan ESPTools pada text mode.&#8221;<\/a>  Selain tools, persiapkan kabel jumper, header male pin, solder dan timah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/ecs7.tokopedia.net\/img\/cache\/700\/product-1\/2016\/12\/25\/7512763\/7512763_e9b74a85-1ee4-473e-ab09-fa1906634772_600_600.jpg?w=525&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Detail\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Kabel Jumper Female to Female<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/ecs7.tokopedia.net\/img\/cache\/700\/product-1\/2016\/3\/5\/3926680\/3926680_295646f2-7991-4ac9-8ae2-7cbf7e7f79d5.jpg?w=525&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Detail\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Header Male Pin<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Kemudian download file firmware Tasmota berektension .bin, untuk selain sensor menggunakan file <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/thehackbox.org\/tasmota\/release\/tasmota.bin\" target=\"_blank\">tasmota.bin<\/a> dan untuk yang menggunakan jenis sensor menggunakan <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/thehackbox.org\/tasmota\/release\/tasmota-sensors.bin\" target=\"_blank\">tasmota-sensor.bin<\/a>. Saat tulis ini, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/thehackbox.org\/tasmota\/release\/\" target=\"_blank\">release<\/a> terakhir versi 8.4.0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Setelah tools sudah siap, buka casing SONOFF, pasang Header Male Pin <strong>VCC-RX-TX-GND<\/strong>. Disini harus diperhatikan adalah penyambungan 4 pin tersebut dengan <em>USB to TTL FT232RL<\/em> yaitu tegangan yang di pilih <strong>3,3VDC<\/strong> untuk <strong>VCC<\/strong> (jangan salah memilih 5VDC akan menyebabkan kerusakan chip ESP) kemudian pin <strong>RX<\/strong> pada SONOFF di hubungkan dengan <em>USB to TTL<\/em> pada pin <strong>TX<\/strong> dan pin <strong>TX<\/strong> pada SONOFF dihubungkan dengan pin <strong>RX<\/strong> pada <em>USB to TTL<\/em>, terakhir Ground atau <strong>GND<\/strong> pada SONOFF dihubungkan dengan <strong>GND<\/strong> juga di <em>USB to TTL<\/em>. Posisi pin bisa lihat di bagian bawah ini bermacam-macam type SONOFF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sebelum mencolokkan <em>USB to TTL<\/em> pada PC\/Laptop, harus menghubungkan GPIO 0 agar chip ESP dalam kondisi untuk di Flash. Biasanya pada SONOFF letak GPIO 0 berfungsi sebagai Button\/Tombol. Jadi di sini tekan dan tahan kemudian colokkan USB ke PC\/Laptop, tetap tahan jangan di lepas, dalam kondisi tombol masih di tekan jalankan perintah esptool. Khusus untuk SONOFF 433 RF Bridge, selain tekan dan tahan tombol sebagai GPIO 0 namun harus merubah saklar seperti ON\/OFF, saklar ini hanya untuk proses flashing saja setelah flashing kembalikan semula saklarnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Biasakan untuk membaca (read) jenis chip ESP -nya, apakah memory berkapasistas 1MB atau 4MB untuk memberikan opsi saat menulis (write) ke chip ESP atau saat flashing. Rakit dan nyalakan beri tegangan listrik, kemudian laptop cari signal wifi ber- SSID <strong>tasmota-xxxx<\/strong> dan hubungkan. Sebelumnya set pada router anda <em>DHCP Server<\/em> karena Tasmota akan mendapatkan IP dari DHCP saat terhubung pada <em>Access Point <\/em>(AP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"290\" height=\"377\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/notes.opikdesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/image-4.png?resize=290%2C377\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-962\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/notes.opikdesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/image-4.png?w=290&amp;ssl=1 290w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/notes.opikdesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/image-4.png?resize=231%2C300&amp;ssl=1 231w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 290px) 100vw, 290px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Bila terhubung, biasanya di MacBook langsung muncul portal untuk mengisi Tasmota dihubungkan ke AP mana dan memasukan password -nya. Bila pada Windows, bisa mengakses ke http:\/\/192.168.4.1 dari browser. Sebagai catatan, Tasmota memiliki kelemahan yaitu bila wifi sudah di config harus terhubung AP tertentu bila nama SSID AP tersebut mati atau di rubah maka Tasmota tidak bisa terhubung dan Tasmota tidak bisa di reset untuk rubah terhubung ke AP baru. Jadi disarankan bila ganti AP sebaiknya nama SSID dan password sama seperti sebelumnya.  Tasmota juga bisa menyimpan AP1 dan AP2, bila AP 1 mati atau signal hilang maka Tasmota akan menghubungkan diri ke AP2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/assets.adventurousway.com\/images\/i\/5mga87slf143\/2000w\/mods\/sonoff-s31\/tasmota-wifi-connecting.jpeg?w=525&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Tasmota WiFi Connecting\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Setelah terhubung, lihat <em>Lease<\/em> pada <em>DHCP Server<\/em> dan cari pada router, Tasmota mendapatkan IP berapa, atau bisa gunakan IP Scan. Untuk detailnya bisa di lihat di bawah ini sesuai type -nya. Setelah merubah Modul untuk penyesuaian perangkat SONOFF selanjut click <em>Save<\/em>, dan Tasmota ada restart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator
