Dan terjadi pada penulis menggunakan MacBook yang OS -nya bukan Windows melainkan Apple MacOS X dan tersedia hanya USB FD. Berikut caranya membuat USB FD untuk booting untuk install OS dan keperluan lainnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Download file ISO -nya terlebih dahulu<br><\/li><li>Buka dan gunakan <em>Terminal<\/em><br><\/li><li>Rubah file ISO -nya ke file bentuk DMG.<br><pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">$ hdiutil convert -format UDRW -o \/path\/to\/target.dmg \/path\/to\/source.iso<\/pre><\/li><li>Sebelum memasukkan USB FD, sebaiknya lihat dahulu disk drive yang terpasang jangan sampai salah drive.<br><pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">$ diskutil list<\/pre><\/li><li>Masukkan USB FD -nya.<br><\/li><li>Cek kembali, disk drive ke berapa untuk USB FD -nya dengan membandingkan sebelumnya, dengan perintah yang sama seperti langkah ke-5<br><\/li><li>Sebagai contoh, USB FD terbaca <em>\/dev\/disk3<\/em>, kemudian di <em>unmount<\/em>.<br><pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">$ diskutil unmountDisk \/dev\/disk3<\/pre><\/li><li>Bila gagal, gunakan aplikasi <em>Disk Utility<\/em>.<br><\/li><li>Setelah di unmount maka selanjutnya penulisan ke USB FD dengan cara RAW<br><pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">$ sudo dd if=\/path\/to\/downloaded.img of=\/dev\/rdisk3 bs=8192<\/pre><\/li><li>Tunggu sampai selesai, nanti akan muncul seberapa besar yang sudah di copy-kan.<br><\/li><li>Terakhir, sebelum cabut USB FD, lakukan <em>eject<\/em>.<br><pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">$ diskutil eject \/dev\/disk3<\/pre><\/li><li>USB FD sudah siap untuk booting.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Seorang SysAdmin sudah pasti memerlukan tools untuk install OS, sedangkan tidak tersedianya CD\/DVD Drive atau kepingan CD\/DVD -nya.
