Protocol ini menggunakan Distance-Vector Routing dan RIP ini dimasukkan dalam klasifikasi Interior Gateway Protocol (IGP).<\/p>\n<p>Sebenarnya artikel ini adalah lanjutan dari tulisan yang sebelumnya tentang <a href=\"http:\/\/notes.opikdesign.com\/index.php\/2016\/11\/05\/static-routing-di-mikrotik\/\">Static Routing<\/a>. Karena static routing ini tidak praktis dan melelahkan bagi Network Administrator maka dipakailah dynamic routing. Bayangkan bila Router jumlahnya puluhan karena tiap divisi diberi router, atau bayangkan bila ada perubahaan\/penambahan subnet jaringan dibelakang salah satu router saja maka harus mengkonfig semua router, bahkan\u00a0bayangkan bila d perubahan disemua jaringan, tentunya akan melelahkan.<\/p>\n<p>Saya tidak membahas secara detail mengenai RIP tersebut, bila ingin lebih tahu tentang detailnya mengenai RIP bisa cari <a href=\"https:\/\/id.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Routing_Information_Protocol\" target=\"_blank\">WIKI<\/a> yang membahas ini. Sedangkn R4 berada di gedung Produksi dengan IP LAN 192.168.30.0\/24.
